Who We Are

SmartVanBox was born from the idea of Roberto Pompermaier, a software architect with extensive experience in IoT and a long-time windsurfer, who personally transformed his van into a mini camper to better chase the wind and waves. Combining his creativity with previous experience at major companies like Samsung, British Telecom, and Huawei, he is responsible for product design and its technical implementation.

Later, Andrea Carraretto, an IT consultant with over a decade of experience in web application development, who more recently transitioned to the world of marketing and communication, joined the project. With his help, we aim to grow the community of users and expand the Smart Van Box project as a whole.

Another key member of the team is Alessandro, who not only handles the finishing touches on the van and prototypes but also brings his expertise in energy efficiency, ensuring the optimal use of resources. Like Roberto, Alessandro shares a passion for windsurfing and van camper conversions.

The team works tirelessly on the project to create a solution that is both useful and truly unique!
